But, a little birdie just told us that our favourite couple has decided to not get hitched any time soon, but they are taking another step forward in their relationship.
According to the grapevine, Rahul and Athiya have decided to move into a swanky sea-facing apartment together in Mumbai. Isn’t this exciting? Imagine the cute snaps that will bless our feed!
Are Rahul & Athiya Planning To Get Married?
Just a little while ago, a source close to Rahul and Athiya claimed that the couple’s wedding preparation has already begun and the lovebirds are gearing up for a winter wedding. They are reportedly planning to tie the knot in a traditional South Indian wedding ceremony by the end of 2022.
However, a close friend of the actress denied these claims and shared that there’s no wedding on the cards for the couple as both of them have their professional commitments ATM. They said, “There’s no wedding happening this year. Athiya has two projects starting at different intervals this year. One is for the web domain, the other is a theatrical movie. KL Rahul has the world cup coming up and his schedule is blocked with different tournaments before that. With their hands full, where do they have the time to have a wedding this year?”
So far, Athiya and Rahul have not spoken about the wedding rumours but we are staying glued to the ‘Gram just in case the couple decides to make a surprise announcement.
A Look At Athiya And Rahul’s Love Story
As per the rumours mills, Rahul and Athiya were set up by mutual friends and the sparks flew right away. Initially, the couple kept their relationship under the wraps, but made things public last year when the actress accompanied Rahul for the Test series in England. Since then, their Instagram handles have been flooded with adorable PDA moments and we’re loving every bit of it.
