We don’t know about you, but the moment we first saw Kishwer Merchant playing Nonie in Hip Hip Hurray, we fell in love. Since then, she has been a part of some truly incredible daily soaps and reality shows, including Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Kutumb, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and so many more.
After more than two decades of stellar performances, last year Kishwer decided to take a break from her telly career to focus on her personal life. NGL, we had secretly wished for her to make a come back to our TV screens and it appears that all our prayers have been answered! The actress is all set to get back to the biz with Reem Shaikh starrer-Fanaa – Ishq Mein Marjawaan.
Interestingly, Kishwer will be seen as the antagonist in the show and we are hella excited for her to step out of her comfort zone. In a recent interview, she spoke about her decision to stay away from television projects and said, “I had taken a cautious break from work to spend time with my son. But now, I feel ready to face the screen once again and I am extremely excited to be a part of Fanaa – Ishq Mein Marjawaan. I will be playing the role of Meera Raichand as Agastya’s stepmother.”
Kishwer added, “When the role was offered to me, I was immediately intrigued by its grey shade. I hope the viewers love this new development in the show.”
What Has Kishwer Been Upto?
In 2021, Kishwer welcomed her son Nirvair with hubby Suyyash Rai and since then, we have been hooked to the couple’s respective social media handles. The actress never misses a chance to talk about her experiences as a new mother and how she is handling different challenges.
