There’s nothing better than finding out that your favourite B-town celebs are getting hitched. Recently, we were met with the same excitement when the rumours about the Kiara Advani-Sidharth Malhotra wedding began to surface. The buzz has it that the two have been dating for almost two years now. So when we heard that their wedding may take place in December, we were completely over the moon.
According to a little birdie, Sid and Kiara are currently scouting for the perfect wedding venue. The source close to the couple said for over a month the two traveled all across the country with their families to find a location that works for them. After a long search, it looks like the duo may have just found the perfect venue.
As per reports, the #Sidara wedding might take place in The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa & Resorts. This lush property is situated in Chandigarh and in fact, it is the same place where Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot. The source also added that initially Sid and Kiara wanted a beautiful tropical wedding in Goa. Unfortunately, that plan is no longer in the works because of logistic issues. “Considering Sidharth’s big-fat Punjabi family, the plan of tying knot in Goa was dropped,” the source said.
Apart from all their shaadi plans, Sidharth and Kiara also have several interesting projects to look forward to. Sid is currently working on Yodha, a movie helmed by Sagar Ambre and produced by Dharma Productions. Kiara, on the other hand, has Satyaprem Ki Katha (SKK), a rom-com that she is doing with Kartik Aaryan. SKK will most likely hit the floors on June 29, 2023.
