In the last few weeks, we have seen desi divas in some very spectacular promotional outfits. Be it Alia Bhatt in a lush green gown at Tudum or Kriti Sanon in a graceful lehenga for Adipurush, these ladies have certainly given us some serious fashion moments.
Recently, Kiara Advani was in Mumbai attending the song launch event of Sun Sajni for her upcoming movie, Satyaprem Ki Katha. Needless to say, Kiara painted the town red in an oh-so-stunning outfit at the event. She wore a gorgeous red three-piece ensemble by Nachiket Bharve. Her outfit featured a pair of flared trousers paired with a matching embroidered bralette. A heavily embroidered floral jacket was paired over the two-piece ensemble. Her statement jumkas and open tresses perfectly rounded off her OOTD and we love it.
Now hold on! Kiara’s red jacket and trouser set is giving us a major déjà vu moment. Before Kiara, it was Sara Ali Khan who championed a similar Nachiket Bharve outfit. Let us explain. During one of the promotional events for her movie Kedarnath in 2018, Sara went to the Bigg Boss 12 house. For the same, the actress wore a red embroidered set, similar to that of Kiara. It featured a floor-length jacket, an embroidered top, and flowy trousers.
Though the outfits might appear the same to many, but there are some distinguishing points to note. While Kiara’s outfit featured more intricate embroidery, Sara’s top and jacket had larger floral detailings. Also, Kiara’s jacket sleeves are made from sheer fabric whereas Sara’s seem to be silk. The latter is also in a deeper shade of red.
Before you start jumping to the ‘who wore it better’ conclusion, let us just say that both the divas did a fab job with their promotional looks. While their ensemble look the same but we love how both of these outfits stood out because of their amazing individual personality and gorgeousness.
