One of our most favourite celebrity kids (when it comes to fashion and style), Khushi Kapoor, is currently in Bali attending a family friend’s wedding. But, the way the 18-year-old celebrated Independence Day yesterday has given us a new meaning of freedom. She embraced the occasion with freedom from sleeves, dupatta, and boredom!
Miss Kapoor wore a lehenga-choli that has us looking at her viral pictures twice–once, to see what the fashionista is wearing, and the second time, to take notes on how to get the exact blouse designed for the upcoming wedding season. Have a look at her outfit:
Heavy embroidery, all that sheer, one-of-a-kind blouse design and tulle inserts, this lehenga-choli had everything. Khushi’s sexy black and navy-blue lehenga was by Jade by Monica and Karishma. The starlet left us stunned with her effortless style.
We really appreciate how the designers shifted focus from the hemline to the waistline of the lehenga skirt. Now, you don’t have to ask your sister to take full-length pictures of you so you can finally flaunt all that glam on the ‘gram. Here’s how Khushi did it:
Notice the contrasting purple lace there? Well, we have to say, it sure is making a statement.
Speaking of statement-making designs, let’s talk about that choli. Khushi wore an off-shoulder choli with a scalloped lace design on the top. We love how it’s closed on one side and leads to a train of tulle on the other. I mean, train on a blouse? Why haven’t we done that already?! It’s pure genius and something we are totally asking our masterji to make us this wedding season. It’s going to be lit!
