Suno kal raat ki kahaani… when India’s (and Sara Ali Khan’s) heartthrob, Kartik Aaryan was in Indore for an event. While he painted the town red last night at The Lokmat Awards in Mumbai, Indore had a clear blue sky thanks to Kartik. No doubt he won the Most Stylish Youth Icon 2018 Award. I mean, exhibit A:

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Kartik Aaryan wore the breeziest blue shade known to mankind, powder blue, and made it look hotter than ever. Of course, some of the credit goes to his smouldering looks but it is all in the details that reflect your true style. And in Kartik’s case, it is a little bit of hair gel and a lot more of layering. He is always wearing blazers and jackets with his OOTDs, in case you haven’t noticed yet. And they sure do work for him. Exhibit B:

Kartik teamed his distressed loose-fitted jeans with a blue and white pinstriped shirt by Massimo Dutti and topped it off with a denim jacket by Croquis, an Indian label. Giving us denim-on-denim goals in style, Mr Aaryan matched his footwear to the contrast white panel on the jacket in a pair of high-top sneakers by Giuseppe Zanotti.

The jeans were stuffed in the shoes with the zipper half-way done whereas the double sleeves had roughly folded cuffs keeping in tune with the messily done shirt buttons. Why so hot, K?
