Let’s be real fam, ever since we stumbled upon the promo of Koffee With Karan Season 7, we were waiting for Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor’s episode. The two actresses surely spilled the tea in the best possible way and a lot of the jokes were indirectly based on Kartik Aaryan. In fact, Sara allegedly called the Dhamaka star ‘everyone’s ex’ and Janhvi agreed with her.
Since then we were wondering if Kartik will break his silence on the comments made on KWK Season 7 and finally he did . During a recent media interaction, Kartik was asked about the ‘one thing (he would) never do in a relationship. The actor replied, “bad mouth and spread rumours.”
NGL, we are now wondering if Kartik was referring to Sara’s statements on the Koffee With Karan’s couch? While the evidence surely suggests so, we can’t be too sure!
What Went Down Between Sara & Kartik
Back in 2018, Sara made her way to Koffee With Karan for the first time and she was quite honest about her crush on Kartik. Within no time, the two got signed up for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 and social media was buzzing with rumours of Sara and Kartik’s relationship. While the two never made things official, their frequent date nights and social media banter left little to the imagination.
However, in a few months, their romance fizzled out and we were left wondering what exactly went wrong with #Sartik. In an earlier interview, Kartik opened up on his alleged relationship with Sara and said, “There was nothing promotional there. How do I explain this? No dear, I mean, we are humans as well. Not everything is promotional. This is all that I will say on this topic.”
TBH, it is fair to say that there is a bit of bad blood between Sara and Kartik. We only hope that the two stars find a way to let go of their grudges and find peace!
