What is Kartik Aaryan up to on the professional front? It’s the one question that’s been bugging all his fans for a long time. The actor has been a part of some of the biggest controversies of the year. It all started when he was dropped from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2. Soon after, things went downhill when rumours of him getting ousted from Red Chillies Entertainment’s Goodbye Freddie started doing the rounds. And then in a shocking turn, the grapevine was buzzing that Kartik had lost another potential project. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for any comment from the actor about his films, but so far there haven’t been any.
However, there’s finally a sweet surprise for all the actor’s fans. Excited to find out? Kartik is all set to be a part of the movie Satyanarayan Ki Katha. The movie is being touted as an epic love story and is being helmed by National Award-winning director Sameer Vidwans.
Kartik took to his social media pages with a short and soulful video and wrote, “A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha. A special film with special people. #SajidNadiadwala @sameervidwans @shareenmantri @arora.kishor @wardakhannadiadwala @karandontsharma @nadiadwalagrandson @namahpictures #SNKK.”
In a statement, he said, “I have been wanting to work with Sajid sir for some time now, I couldn’t have asked for better collaboration. I’m extremely happy that I am a part of Sajid Sir, Shareen and Kishor’s vision.” Kartik also added that “Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining.” The makers are yet to reveal the name of the leading lady and we can’t wait to know who the actor will be romancing in the epic love story. Kartik rose to fame with his impeccable monologue in Pyaar Ka Punchnama and soon this chocolate boy became one of our faves. He was last seen in Love Aaj Kal which was released in 2020. We have to say that our screens have been missing him and we’ve been waiting for the actor to entertain us for a while. Here’s hoping that his next movie is out ASAP!
