Clad in comfy kaftans and glowing her way through the second pregnancy, Kareena Kapoor really made it look like it was a cakewalk. She literally kept smiling even when the paps swarmed her every now and then. And Kudos to Kareena for that! However, the actress has finally opened up about the experience of her second pregnancy and about how it took her forever to get back on track and return to normalcy.
In a recent post for International Yoga Day, the actress shared her postpartum experience. She spoke about how drained she has been feeling after her second baby. “Now after two babies and four months postpartum… this time I was just exhausted and in too much pain to get back but today I’m slowly and steadily getting back at it,” shared Kareena.
She further added how she is returning to her yoga practice after four months of her second delivery and plans to do it sans any guilt or inhibitions. Kareena wrote, “My yoga time is my me time… and of course, consistency is key… so, keep at it people ❤️🙌🏼👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼”
In the post, she also talked about her love for yoga and how she started the journey way back in 2006. “For me, my yoga journey began in 2006 when I signed Tashan and Jab We Met… an incredible one… which kept me fit and strong,” Kareena shared. She also posted a picture of her getting back to the routine and girl, we are mighty impressed. Well, if only we had Bebo’s determination!
But that’s not it. To mark International Yoga Day, Kareena also posted an adorable picture of Saif Ali Khan and Taimur performing yoga together. “Following suit for #InternationalYogaDay is the husband and the son… we’re always inspiring each other because #inspiration starts at home,” she captioned the post.
