The Jab We Met actress’ life completely changed after she embraced motherhood on December 20, 2016. She gave birth to her baby boy Taimur and the internet found joy in this bundle of cuteness. Paps can’t stop taking his pictures every time he steps out, and Kareena, too, makes sure to give the fans a regular dose of Taimur’s adorable antics. Her team keeps posting pictures and videos of the cutie patootie on social media.
Recently, at an award show, Kareena dedicated her award (in the style category) to her son Taimur and took a jibe at Ranveer Singh’s dress sense. Kareena, who is known to be very outspoken and curt, said, “Taimur is definitely more stylish than you, Ranveer, despite all your looks… Sorry, hands down!”
We all know how Ranveer has an eccentric sense of dressing. He wears the most unusual combinations and makes a statement effortlessly. But Bebo thinks he has a lot to learn from baby Pataudi.
In an interview, Kareena talked about where all she goes shopping for little Tim-Tim, “Well ya, I shop at Zara, H&M and Adidas. I mean I don’t believe in getting my son Gucci or Prada. I am very sorry. He doesn’t earn his own money. His parents work really hard to buy his outfits and you know, my parents never gave me branded clothes till I made my own money. I think both Saif and I are like that. He can do and wear what he likes but for now, he is wearing what his parents get for him – which is simple clothes.”
The K3G star also talked about how important it is to spend quality time with your kids. She said, “What a child really wants is love and nurturing. And that 30 minutes of quality, undisturbed time in today’s day and age, without your phone, without your friends, without your work, without anything; even that amount of time is enough to just look into his eyes and make him know I love Taimur. That’s what I think is the most precious time for me.”
She also revealed how she would like to bring up her son. “No amount of taking him to play school or carrying him around or travelling the world – I don’t think that matters at all. I think it’s just that when I shut the door and tell everyone that I don’t want to see them for that hour–it could be Saif included–that is the way I want to bring up my son.”
