We all know that whenever Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rhea Kapoor come together, they do not disappoint us! Their 2018 release, Veere Di Wedding, starring Rhea’s sister, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania, was quite the banger. The movie was the perfect blend of feminism with a dash of comedy and drama.
A little birdie has now informed us that the duo is reuniting again for yet another exciting project! The film is going to be directed by Rajesh Krishnan, who also directed Lootcase. A close source revealed, “Not much is known about the subject of the film as yet, as it’s still in the planning stage. However, they have discussed an idea, that they have both loved, and are excited to collaborate once again for it. The script is being developed, more big names are expected to join the cast, and an official announcement will be made soon.”
We simply cannot wait for these ladies to collaborate and give us yet another banger. When two strong-headed and talented women get together, they are bound to make something memorable. Veere Di Wedding may not have been everyone’s cup of tea but it was definitely a shot of vodka with a slice of lemon on it! We can’t wait to see what the Kapoor besties will have in store for us next.
On the personal front, Bebo has just returned from her long European vacay and it looks like she’s ready to get back to work. She is gearing up for her film Laal Singh Chaddha and is also going to be seen sharing the Koffee With Karan couch with her co-star, Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Rhea has been seen spending some quality time with mommy-to-be, Sonam Kapoor, and is now ready for a new project. We can’t wait for these ladies to reunite and create magic again—we’re sure it’s going to be unique and fun!
