Last year, Karan Kundrra and Anusha Dandekar’s breakup came as a major shock to their fans. One moment they were #CoupleGoals, the next they had unfollowed each other on social media. A lot of commotion and rumours followed. Soon enough Anushka had a heart-breaking revelation to make and accused Karan of cheating on her. However, the fans were yet to hear his side of the story and their excitement knew no bounds when he entered the Bigg Boss 15 house as a contestant. However, to everyone’s disappointment, he mostly kept mum about the breakup in the initial few weeks on his BB innings.
Well, guess what? Karan has finally spoken about his split with Anusha and it’s way more emotional than we expected it to be. The actor finally poured his heart out in a conversation with Shamita Shetty during last night’s episode and talked about how he regrets the breakup. Karan started the conversation by talking about how he has lost a lot of friends in the past couple of years because of his relationship and breakup.
During the conversation, he took full responsibility for everything that went wrong and said, “A lot of things happened with me around the same time, around the lockdown time. Multiple people, multiple layers of relationships and everything I f***** up. With my friends, I am quite sure with my ex, with my family. People who actually cared for me. I am a caring person, I will be there for everyone but I am a very self-centered person. My approach towards people is very self-centered.”
Karan further talked about how the relationship could have been saved had they sat down and discussed everything. “Agar hum fat jaate to shayad sort kar lete. Mai fata nahi, wo fatati rahi aur mai us se door hota raha. Mereko lagta hai mere ko imperfections se pyar hota hai but agar humne ek dusre ko baith k samjha hota to cheezein change hoti. Agar maine apne issues sort kar liya hota, relationship ko affect nahi hone diya hota (If we had fought over it, we may have been able to sort things out, she tried but I kept moving away from her. I think I love imperfections. Had we understood each other, things would have changed. Had I sorted my own issues and not let them affect the relationship), things would have been different,” he said.
After hearing his story, Shamita shared that she could feel what he was going through and said, “I hope that she is watching this right now.” Karan replied to this by saying “me too” and since then the fans cannot stop wondering if there is still hope for #Karanusha. That said, the actor clearly has got a lot of moving on to do right now and this gets us worried about his involvement with Tejasswi Prakash in the Bigg Boss house. Here’s hoping that Karan treads this path carefully and doesn’t end up in another emotional mess.
