An old video of John from Koffee With Karan 3 is doing rounds on social media and looks like he called out KJo even before Kangana!
In the video, KJo asks John to name ‘the Khan of all seasons’ among Shah Rukh Khan, Salman and Aamir. To this, John replies, “You are very clannish. Why are you so clannish? Why can’t it be the Kumars and the Devgans? Ajay Devgn has given the biggest hits.” Karan even tried to change the topic, by calling John “the flag-bearer of the fraternity.” Pretty sure, Kangana watched that!
When Ranveer Singh Took A Dig At KJo’s ‘Nepo Bias’
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt gave us an unforgettable Koffee With Karan episode during season 7. Ranveer’s not-so-subtle dig at Karan’s ‘nepo bias’ has to be the highlight though. Ranveer acted like he was throwing a tantrum after losing a Koffee quiz and said, “How did this happen? I felt like I did better throughout. It’s cool though. I know this is Koffee With Karan. There’s a nepo bias. It’s fine, I was expecting.”
Kriti’s Reply To KJo When He Called Alia ‘The Best Actress’
Throughout KWK 7, netizens kept trolling KJo for his obsession with Alia Bhatt. The host never missed an opportunity to praise the Brahmāstra actress and the audience kept pointing that out. Things got interesting when Kriti Sanon decided to take his case during one of the episodes.
When asked by Karan if she has ever felt envious of her contemporaries, especially Alia Bhatt, Kriti gracefully replied, “Of course, it drives me. It aspires me to do better. When I see great work. You know, I would love to have an opportunity like that (Gangubai Kathiwadi).“ She basically hinted at how it was more about opportunities and less about talents ‘coz outsiders never get to work with big production houses. Mira Rajput Calling Out KJo For Snubbing Shahid
Mira ensured to pull Karan’s leg when she graced the Koffee couch with Shahid during season 5. Before the rapid-fire round, she very smartly asked the host to rank Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. When Shahid interjected and asked why his name was not on the list, Mira replied, ‘Because he never mentions you.’ Ahan! That’s a clever way to deliver the message!
