Do you remember when Kareena Kapoor Khan graced the Koffee With Karan’s couch and gave us this gem—”You (Karan) are in every ad, every show, every TV channel. Put on the channel and my mother says, Karan Johar aa jaata hai.” Nothing can sum up Karan Johar’s busy schedule better! The filmmaker is juggling multiple roles like a pro.
Last year, Karan made an impression as the Bigg Boss OTT’ host and fans have been waiting for him to make his way back to the show. Unfortunately, KJo won’t be schooling BB stars this year as the filmmaker has too much on his plate. A little birdie tells us that Karan may not host the show this year because he is going to be busy with the upcoming season of Koffee With Karan.
Earlier this month, Karan left us all jumping with joy when he announced the return of our favourite chat show. The filmmaker wrote on his Instagram, “Koffee with Karan will not be returning…on TV! Because every great story needs a good twist, I’m delighted to announce that Season 7 of Koffee With Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar! The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some koffee. There will be games, there will be rumours put to rest – and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years. Koffee With Karan,’steaming’ soon, only on Disney + Hotstar. Toodles!”
According to the grapevine, Karan has already finalised the guestlist for the show and many of our favourite stars will return to the infamous couch. It is going to be an exciting season for sure!
NGL, we are going to miss Karan’s sassy jibes in Bigg Boss OTT but we totally understand his reasons. At least we have another KJo show to look forward to.
