So, we all know by now that Bigg Boss 15 will release on August 8 (can’t wait) on the OTT platform, Voot. We also know that it will run there for six weeks before getting a grand premiere on television. Now, we were a little disappointed to learn that Salman Khan would not host the show for those six weeks. Sure, he has been threatening to not return on the show every year, but he ultimately does. And, the reason is kinda obvious. There are very few celebs in Bollywood who can handle the drama of the gharwalas as efficiently as he does. I mean, if there’s one person the contestants actually listen to, then it’s him. So obviously, we couldn’t help but wonder who in the world would be able to fill his shoes on the OTT platform. And now, we have an answer.
Turns out, the OG host of B-town will take over the OTT Bigg Boss 15 as well. Yes, we are talking about none other than Karan Johar! The filmmaker recently announced the same on his social media handle and NGL, we need a minute to calm the hell down!
Isn’t this OMG-we-cannot-believe-our-eyes kinda amazing? It surely is! KJo shared a pic on his Instagram handle and wrote in the caption, “Ok here I am !!! The host of #biggbossOTT @voot @vootselect #biggbossottonvoot all the fun , craziness and over the topness will be unleashed soooooon!!!! Watch this space for more !!!!❤️❤️❤️”
Well, we have to say that the makers couldn’t have roped in a better host than Karan for their Bigg Boss OTT. We totes agree with what they’re saying- “Over The Top Meets Over The Top”! The official handle of Voot shared the same on their Twitter and wrote, “#BiggBossOTT hoga itna over the top that only someone ekdum over the top could have matched the vibe. The one and only @karanjohar, joins #BBOTT as the host. Ab toh itna crazy, itna over the top hoga ki aap soch bhi nahi sakte.”
OMG, given KJo’s soft spot for good love stories, we cannot wait to see if he will act as a cupid while hosting the show too. I mean, we are ready to root for all the new Bigg Boss jodis already!
Only 15 days to go, but well, who’s counting? JK, we are ‘coz we’re excited AF!!
