Let me paint a picture for you…it’s a Monday morning, your coffee didn’t do enough to wake you up. You’re stuck in a traffic jam. You’re endlessly scrolling through your Instagram and BAM! you see something that wakes you up, instantly! That’s what happened to me today.
Kangana Ranaut turned up on my feed looking like a true STUNNA in an ice-blue saree by Anita Dongre.
While her body language was just like it would be if she were wearing a pair of jeans, what made me do a double take was that unicorn glow. There are three make-up trends that stood out that I think you could totally borrow from Kangana.

#1 Shimmer Eyeshadow
Wearing shimmer in the summer (see what I did there?) can be a bit tricky and look super extra when not done right but the rose-gold eye make-up with undertones of brown was the right amount of pop we needed to see.
TIP: Wet your brush with some setting spray and then apply eyeshadow to increase pigmentation!

#2 The Right Shade Of Blush
There’s just something about the right shade of blush. It doesn’t look like it’s been painted on but more like years of eating right and using a serum at night has finally showed it’s true colour. Or getting 11 hours of sleep. Or that shade of pink when your boy-crush calls. Yeah, that flush I call blush. It’s that good.
TIP: Apply a swipe of blush on your cheekbones after you put your concealer. Then apply your foundation. This way, even if you went over with your blush, you won’t have to worry.

#3 Glossy Lips
Glossy lips have been a trend since last year. And when done right, they really bring something amazing to the table. Start by applying a lip stain on flake-free lips. Apply a lipstick and run it over with a light gloss. Make sure you get your cupid’s bow.
TIP: You can also apply a lipstick, put a wipe on your pout and apply some loose powder. And then apply another coat of lip colour. This helps avoid frequent touch-ups.
