The Justhuman Probiotic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo comes with the promise of banishing dandruff from your life, aiming to restore not just your scalp’s health but potentially your dwindling confidence too. Here’s what it actually did.

What Is It?

This shampoo positions itself as a probiotic powerhouse, targeting dandruff’s root cause. It promises to bring harmony to your scalp’s microbiome while waving a magic wand over those pesky flakes. Additionally, it boasts a clean formulation that’s pH balanced, anti-inflammatory, and supposedly shows visible results in 7 days or less. The sensory experience is heightened with a mix of rosemary extract, citrus, eucalyptus, and musk notes, all while promoting hair follicle growth.

Our Thoughts

On paper, the Justhuman Probiotic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo sounds like a dream come true. However, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the promise of treating dandruff at its root cause and balancing the scalp microbiome is alluring, the reality didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I have a pretty oily scalp which means there is a lot of build from products and a lot of dandruff which drops in big flakes. This is the main reason I’ve used almost every anti-dandruff shampoo in the market.

I was really excited to try this once since I’ve been looking to integrate more probiotic products into my routine but I have to say it was a big fail. The first two times I used it, it stripped my scalp of all moisture including the build-up and dandruff. I was ecstatic to go without shampooing for the next three/four days and had really thought I found my new favourite. But the next few washes were nothing short of disappointing.

The dandruff came back and worse than before – it was so bad that right after washing I could still feel flakes on my scalp! It could be because of my genetic makeup or the environment my scalp creates for the dandruff, but this was a no for me. If you struggle with a lot of dandruff you can try the smaller version of the shampoo but I don’t recommend splurging for the big size until you’re sure it works for you.

How To Use It?

Massage the shampoo deeply into your scalp, rinse thoroughly, and follow up with a conditioner for the best results. The recommendation is to use it a minimum of three times a week.

What It Looks Like

Good To Know
Key Benefits: Is pH-balancing, dermatologically tested, cleanses the scalp.
Key Ingredients: Panthenol, rosemary extract, probiotics.

In Conclusion

The Justhuman Probiotic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo strides in with the confidence of a product that could be the ultimate solution to dandruff woes. However, while it does offer a refreshing cleanse and a somewhat invigorating sensory experience, its efficacy in combating dandruff might not meet everyone's expectations. For those in search of an immediate and noticeable difference, this shampoo might leave you wanting. Perhaps, in the realm of anti-dandruff solutions, the search for the holy grail continues.
