Try Shraddha Kapoor’s Juice Recipies For Glowing Skin

Shraddha Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the fittest actors in the industry. We got to see her enviable figure up close in her latest film Tu Jhooti Main Makkar and while that kind of body may be a distant dream for many (aka me), I’ll settle for having something closer. Her skin.

And you best believe, Shraddha’s skin glows. She practices the concept of less is more by following a basic CTM routine, not skipping out on sunscreen and consuming healthy ingredients to ensure her skin glows from within. She’s also a fan of juices and has shared her go-to favourites. Take a look!

Shraddha Kapoor’s Morning Juice

The actress took to her Instagram to share a picture of her morning green juice. “Health apne hi haath mein hoti hai Good morning!!!” she captioned it.

While we don’t know the exact contents of this green juice, here are some similar ones you can try out to beat the heat and give your skin that additional boost.

Apples, Kale & Celery Juice

In a blender, add two chopped apples, 1 celery stalk and 2 kale leaves and mix it until there are no chunks. Serve in a glass and drink up!

Tangy Pineapple Juice

Mix together 1 cup of chopped pineapple, 5-7 mint leaves and 1 chopped cucumber. This will not only taste refreshing in the heat but will also soothe your skin from within.

Orange, Ginger & Spinach Juice

In a blender, whip up 1 orange, 1 cup of spinach, the juice from one lemon, 3 stalks of celery and half an inch of ginger. This might not taste the best but it does wonders for the skin!

Kapoor has previously shared recipes of her go-to juices that she loves whipping up that are healthy and keep her skin glowing. Take a look.

Summer Juice

Previously, in her stories, Shraddha had revealed that she loves drinking a juice containing basic kitchen ingredients. “Nature plus health and carrot/apple/ginger celery juice,” she captioned it.

Recipe:

  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 1 chopped apple
  • 2 chopped-up celery stalks
  • 1 tsp of ginger, finely grated

Throw the ingredients into a mixer and blend until a thick, liquid consistency forms. Seve in a glass and add a few drops of lemon juice to give it a zesty taste.

Carrots

Rich in carotenoids, carrots have antioxidant properties that help fight damage to the skin by free radicals. It can also enhance the skin’s glow with regular consumption.

It is also rich in vitamins A and B that help stimulate collagen, in turn reducing the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of ageing.

It also improves the skin’s barrier thanks to the natural flavone present in the vegetable.

Apples

Known for their high Vitamin C content, regular consumption of the fruit helps brighten the skin, evens out the skin tone and reduces the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation.

Apples also contain Vitamin E which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It gets easily absorbed into the skin and helps maintain the skin’s hydration levels.

The fruit is also rich in malic acid which is a mild exfoliant that helps shed the dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. It is also gentle and doesn’t irritate the skin.

Celery

Extremely rich in water, this leafy green helps keep the skin hydrated. It is perfect for those with dry skin as it helps keep flakiness and scaly skin at bay.

It is also rich in Vitamin A, an ingredient that helps keep the scalp nourished and hydrated, thus boosting hair health and root regrowth.

Ginger

Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger can help reduce puffiness, redness and skin inflammation. It can also manage psoriasis and eczema and boost even-toned skin.
