I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the pandemic is not over yet! Yes, the number of COVID-19 cases in India have dropped marginally (thank god), but that does not mean we can let our guards down. We have been warned that a third wave is bound to arrive in a few months and NGL, that’s scary AF. The least we can do to prevent the crisis is to get vaccinated, wear our masks, and follow other guidelines. It is a very critical time for our country as our actions today can shape (and save) our future.
While people should avoid going out unnecessarily, sadly, most of them are acting like the pandemic never existed. They are attending grand weddings and going on vacations without a care in the world. Here’s a reality check: India is registering around 40,000 new COVID-19 cases every day. And, if this isn’t alarming enough, they can pay attention to the current coronavirus situation in the entertainment industry.
Jennifer Winget recently tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram yesterday and shared the same. She wrote, “Down but not out… YES, It’s TRUE! Corona came a-knocking and caught me off guard .. 🙄 . But know that, I am asymptomatic and feel absolutely fine. So to everyone worried and concerned, don’t be! 🥰”
TBH, we’re loving how the Beyhaddh actress is keeping her spirits afloat during such tough times. Jen further added that she has quarantined herself and wrote, “Here to report that I am quarantining, whining and dining and cannot wait to kick back in action. A bummer, this, but promise it’s only a minor blip, just paused for a bit to emerge stronger, better, healthier and raring to go.”
Jennifer concluded her note by thanking her fans and promised to get back in action soon. “Thank you for all your wishes. But Covid aint got nothing on me! Be back sooner than you know. Signing off with hugs and kisses… Or I best, better not! 😁🤍,” she added. We’re hoping that you do, girl!
Well fam, this is a reminder that you still need to be as cautious as you can while stepping out. It’s high time we take COVID guidelines and our health seriously.
