Stop everything and get ready to pop some champagne! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have tied the knot and we can’t keep calm. After 20 years of waiting, we finally have the happily-ever-after moment that we have all been hoping for. Months after announcing their engagement in April 2022, the couple got a marriage license over the weekend and got hitched in a small ceremony.
A source close to Ben and Jen confirmed their wedding reports and said, “It was super, super small. They just wanted to be married so they got married” NGL, we have been waiting for this day since 2002. Finally, JLo confirmed the news via her official newsletter On the JLo with multiple exclusive photos from Bennifer’s special day.
“We did it,” Jennifer shared excitedly and wrote a heartwarming note addressed to her fans. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, and stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love’. We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to,” penned JLo.
Jennifer revealed that her wedding dress was from an old movie, Ben wore an old jacket and their children were there to witness the ceremony.
“We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” concluded the Maid In Manhattan star.
