Don’t know about you, but I miss TV shows from the 2000s. From Kahiin Toh Hoga to Kayamath, these daily soaps were fresh, fun and interesting back then. Speaking of Kayamath, wasn’t it the cutest show ever? The star cast, the adorable storyline and the chemistry of the lead pair, everything about it was fab. And Jay Bhanushali seems to agree with us. In fact, during one of his recent interviews, the actor opened up about wanting the popular show to make a comeback and we totally agree with him.
While talking to a leading show, Jay got candid and explained why he’d like Kayamath to make a comeback. “Two to three months back I had posted the title track of the show on Instagram, and I was so shocked that I was getting messages like, ‘you were my first crush’, ‘I used to watch you when I was in school’, and they were describing the whole story. So I realised that is one show that people have not forgotten,” he revealed.
He even added that if he hadn’t been a part of Dance India Dance, people would still know him as his character from Kayamath, Neev. Jay also mentioned that he enjoyed working with Shabir Ahluwalia, Panchi Bora and Sanjeeda Shaikh. “We used to really enjoy shooting, and that’s how people used to love our whole chemistry between each other. That’s one show that I really want to see make a comeback, and I should be the lead,” he added.
Well, we really hope the makers of Kayamath decide to surprise us with a new season of the show. Fingers crossed!
