Our favourite movie that we grew up watching, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, completed 20 years yesterday and the internet rejoiced with funny memes, nostalgic posters, and oh-so-fancy pictures from the glamorous party Karan Johar hosted last night. Not only was the entire cast of the movie present but other celebrities also joined the celebrations. However, there is one particular look from the party that stole the limelight, and quite literally. Of course, we are talking about Bollywood’s sweetheart, Janhvi Kapoor.

Janhvi Kapoor and her gorgeous neon dress stole hearts, and all the attention yesterday. She along with her Dhadak co-star, Ishaan Khatter, opened the night with a small tribute to the movie. Remember the famous Rahil-Anjali handshake? That’s exactly what they did.
But what we really want to talk about is Janhvi’s dress. She wore a beautiful dress designed by Shehlaa Khan. A dangerously thigh-high slit, ultra-thin shoulder straps crossing at the back, and a modern throwback to a ’90s neon – this dress had it all. Her stylist, Tanya Ghavri, picked multi-stoned diamond studs and a diamond ring by Amrapali Jewels to complete the look.
The waterfall silhouette of the dress made it the perfect summer/brunch/date night outfit. Basically, you can wear it anywhere and channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw the right way.
