It was just another mundane Thursday, but then Janhvi Kapoor decided to make it special! The diva took to Instagram to do a mid-week photo dump and surprised her followers with a picture of a tattoo. This time it is a truly special tattoo as it has a connection with Janhvi’s mom late Bollywood actress Sridevi.
Before we get to that, let’s take a closer look at the post shared by Janhvi. She shared a number of snaps and videos with the caption, “Days well spent”
Her tattoo instantly got our attention. It reads, “I love you my labbu”
There is a special story behind this tattoo. Earlier this year, on the occasion of her mom’s third death anniversary, Janhvi shared a note she had received from her. The note read, “I love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.” Janhvi captioned the post, “Miss you (sic).”
In many media interactions, Janhvi has talked about how her mom constantly inspired her. During a magazine interview, she said, “I think the one thing that my parents have taught me which I’ll always follow, no matter what the circumstance, is to be nice to people. I think mom and Pappa are very dignified people and very respectful of others. One thing that I respect about them is that they’ve never encouraged jealousy or frustration and always taught us to be happy for other people.”
She added, “They’ve taught us to keep our heads down and concentrate on our work. You know, more often than not, you’re presented with an opportunity where you either succumb to your ego or take the higher road and I’ve always seen them take the high road. That’s something that I really value that they’ve inculcated in me and Khushi.”
On the career front, Janhvi will be seen next in a dark comedy film Good Luck Jerry. It is being helmed by Sidharth Sengupta. Apart from this, she also has Dharma Production’s Dostana 2 in her kitty. Well, we are looking forward to Janhvi working her magic on the big screen soon.
