It’s more than often that we see two actresses being pitted against each other in Bollywood. And when they’re the latest crop of star kids, the comparisons are far worse. However, rising above the superficial assumption that contemporaries can’t be friends, actresses Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are proving everyone wrong with their adorable relationship. Apart from the heart-melting social media PDA, the actresses are also seen gushing over each other, every chance they get!
Recently, in a conversation with a leading daily, Janhvi opened up about her love for Sara. Speaking about their new-found friendship, she said, “she is so secure about herself that when they spend time together, the threatening energy between contemporaries never shows up between us. I always feel that I am spending time with my friend who wishes good for me. It is difficult to find such a bond in life, let alone in the film industry”.
The actress also added that she shared a similar love for friend and actress, Ananya Panday. “It’s the same with Ananya Panday, too. I think all of us are secure enough to root for each other. And we genuinely like each other,” Janhvi expressed. Well, we hope that their friendships only see better highs!
How It All Began
On KWK S7, the actresses spilled the beans on how their friendship blossomed. They said it all started when the duo went on two separate trips to L.A. and Goa. It was then that they realised how much they truly have in common.
Talking about their hilarious escapades, Janhvi said, “We were neighbours in Goa and we had a common friend. Then one day we started talking. We ended up talking till 8 AM in the morning”. Can we just say that we wish we were a wallflower to this convo?
