This year, there has been a lot of social media chatter about Aryan Khan’s directorial debut with an OTT series. Fuel was added to these specualtions two months ago when a source close to the star kid revealed, “Yes, it’s true. Besides writing the project, Aryan will also be directing it. He is very passionate about this yet untitled show and has already begun work on the pre-production. They will finalise the actual shooting dates soon.”
Well, guess what? Aryan has finally made it official! The star kid will soon be making his directorial debut with SRK’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment and everything about the project sounds exciting!
Aryan took to Instagram late last night and dropped a pic of his script and announced that he has finished writing and will also be directing the film. But wait, it gets better! Dad Shah Rukh may also make his appearance on the sets of his son’s first film venture.
SRK commented on Aryan’s post, “Wow….thinking…believing….dreaming done, now onto dare….wish u the best for the first one. It’s always special….” To this, Aryan replied in the comment thread, “@iamsrk Thank you! Looking forward to your surprise visits on set haha”.
However, their convo didn’t end there. Shah Rukh added, “then better keep afternoon shifts!! No early mornings….” and Aryan reassured him that he will only shoot at night. Meanwhile, mommy Gauri Khan also jumped in and expressed her excitement. She wrote, “Can’t wait to watch 😍😍😍.”
According to reports, Aryan’s series is a satirical take on the film fraternity as he is familiar with the inner workings of Bollywood functions and parties. We hear that the show will go on floors in mid-2023. NGL, this sounds exciting and we can’t wait to see the young director claim the silver screen. Here’s wishing Aryan all the luck in the world!
