Earlier this year, Richa had shared, “He had planned a romantic dinner on a small, secluded island in the Maldives. I thought it was for my birthday and didn’t suspect a thing. We were sipping champagne when Ali asked me to marry him.” Dear future husband, I hope you’re taking notes!
The two were all set to get married this year but unfortunately, had to postpone their plans due to the pandemic. If you’ve been waiting for their wedding too, then we got an exciting announcement to share. Richa and Ali just opened up about their shaadi plans and we can’t keep calm!
While talking to a leading daily, the lovebirds got candid about their impending nuptials. The Fukrey actor shared, “It’s been a topsy turvy year for everybody and that’s why our celebrations got stalled. But we’re hoping in the new year. We were planning around the time when the second wave came, but again the second wave happened. So we couldn’t.”
Richa further added, “Now, I’m starting to think the waves have something to do with our planning. Every time we start getting things together, call the planner and you know..” To which Ali explained that they get caught up with pending work which is why their wedding gets delayed.”
The actor also revealed, “We definitely have (wedding) plans in Feb/March maybe.” Wait, what? Did these two just confirm that they’ll be tying the knot soon? OMG, this is the best thing we’ve heard all day!
Aren’t they the cutest couple ever? We’ve been rooting for them ever since they went public with their relationship in 2017. Remember when the actress flew down to support her beau at The Venice International Film where his movie Victoria & Abdul was to be premiered? They’ve been redefining relationship goals ever since!
To be honest, we can’t wait to have a look at their pictures from the official ceremony already! Knowing these two, it’s gonna be every bit as special as they are!
