It’s celebration time for popular television actor Karan Patel and his wife Ankita Bhargava as they welcome their first child. The two became proud parents to a baby girl today (December 14). And we are SO happy for them.
Known as Raman Bhalla of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the actor had confirmed his wife’s pregnancy last month. In a statement that the actor made, Karan said, “Am numb, overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who have loved us and continue to bless us.”
For those who do not know, Ankita suffered a miscarriage last year. Karan and Ankita had even announced the pregnancy in a Bollywood style but, unfortunately they lost their child. This was the reason why the couple chose to keep this pregnancy under wraps.
On the work front, Karan recently made a comeback to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which will go off-air in the next four days on December 18. Co-starring Divyanka Tripathi, YHM will be replaced by its spin-off titled, Yeh Hai Chahatein. Karan, however, will be next seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, the shooting for which has already taken place. Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, this show is slated to go on-air once Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss witnesses its finale.
Coming back to the little bundle of joy, many congratulations to the new parents.
