Imagine our delight when we came across the sweetest pictures of Freida Pinto and her newborn baby! The Slumdog Millionaire actress just welcomed her first child with husband Cory Tran and we’re jumping with joy!
The actress announced the arrival of her baby on the ‘gram a day ago while wishing her hubby a happy birthday. She shared a heartwarming picture of Cory and their newborn taking a nap together. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Dada Cory! I celebrate you my husband, friend and partner in life. To see you become not just a Dad but Super-Dad makes me so emotional and fills me with joy. It also gives this sleep-deprived Mama a break and you have no idea how much I appreciate that! I am so grateful and in love with how we do life together. Love you madly.” That’s not all fam, she also revealed the name of her baby by adding, “Rumi-Ray you are one lucky boy!” Awww..Rumi-Ray has such a nice ring to it, no?
The actress also shared a beautiful snap of herself cradling her son with an angel emoji covering his face. Cory reposted both the pictures with an incredibly sweet message. He wrote, “Best birthday gift you could ever ask for. Thank you for our sweet boy. I’m in awe of you more and more every day. Watching you give birth to Rumi-Ray was truly a miracle, you are such a warrior.” NGL, reading his special message for his wife is making our hearts melt!
Freida had announced her pregnancy earlier this year in June. She’d shared a stunning picture of the couple and wrote, “Baby Tran, coming this Fall! ❤.” The pair first met in 2017 after they were introduced by a mutual friend and got engaged two years later. TBH, we have been in love with this couple ever since they posted pictures visiting the Taj Mahal in 2018. They looked perfect together.
