Love her or hate her, you simply can’t ignore Rakhi Sawant! The Bigg Boss star knows how to grab attention with her wacky antics and we love her for it. During her stay in the BB house, Rakhi introduced her husband Ritesh to the world and left us all curious about their relationship. However, as it turns out, the couple has decided to take a step back from their marriage and remain ‘good friends’.
Rakhi recently spilled the beans about her relationship and revealed that she is not with Ritesh anymore. In an interview, the actress said, “We are friends now. Bahar nikalne ke baad we are friends. Acche dost hain (after coming out of the house, we are friends, just good friends). Certain legal matters have to be resolved, he’s doing that. Sabne kaha mera bhaade ka pati (everyone said that I brought my husband on rent). Let people say anything. Bhaade ka toh bhaade ka. Usmein kya? (even if he is a rented husband, what’s wrong with it?) Fingers crossed, sab kuch achcha hoga aage (everything will be fine).”
NGL, we aren’t surprised by Rakhi’s decision as Ritesh’s behaviour in the Bigg Boss house was nothing less than problematic. Any fan of the show can testify to the fact that the businessman was quite disrespectful towards his wife and made nasty comments about her.
After coming out of the Bigg Boss, Ritesh confessed that he was being rude to Rakhi intentionally and it was his ‘strategy’(Yes, you read it right). In an interview, he said, “I wanted people to feel that Rakhi and I are not together so that she gets her supporters, while I create my own army. And towards the end of the game, we would have united. My only mistake was that I could not discuss my plans with Rakhi as I feared others would get a whiff off it. Honestly, I had no malice and it was all part of the game.”
The truth is when it comes to Rakhi and Ritesh no one can predict what will happen in their relationship. All we can do ATM is wait and watch…Possibly with popcorn?
