When it comes to parenting, there is no right way. Every child is unique and so is their relationship with their parents. Unfortunately, if you are a Bollywood couple, you are often subjected to unnecessary trolling and bullying for simply raising a child. Perhaps that’s the reason why many Bollywood parents are so guarded about their children’s privacy. New parents Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have been going through something similar.
Sonam and Anand welcomed their little bundle of joy in August last year and since then we have been waiting for a glimpse of baby Kapoor-Ahuja. However, as it turns out it is going to be a long wait for us! Sonam recently opened up about her decision to not post her baby boy’s face on ‘Gram. The Neerja star shared, “I don’t think till he’s grown up. In fact, (it’ll be) when he decides himself”
NGL, we totally understand Sonam’s hesitance when it comes to social media. It is no secret that online trolls and bullies make it a point to drag even innocent children into their vindictive attacks.
Looking Back At Sonam’s Adorable Baby Announcement
Last year, following the birth of baby Vayu, Sonam took to the ‘Gram to drop the cutest baby announcement. She penned a note that read, “ “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed.”
While Sonam is currently busy with her little one, she is also ‘dying’ to get back to acting. In an interview, the actress shared, “ It’s been a nice break. I’ve been doing this since I was so young, but I now want to come back and start getting into things again. I did a film right before I got pregnant, now it’s released. I’m dying to get back on set because that’s what I’ve done most of my adult life. My film is going to come out soon.”
We are incredibly proud to see Sonam living life on her own terms with her munchkin! BRB, scrolling through the diva’s feed to catch a glimpse of baby Vayu.
