We’ll be honest with you—we were quite excited when Bade Acche lagte Hain 2 released, for so many reasons. We enjoyed the first season of the show and were looking forward to Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar reuniting after a decade. So imagine our disappointment when we realised that the show had nothing great to offer! Yes, Nakuul and Disha’s chemistry is mind-blowing, but that’s the only good thing about season two. The story track has been going way too slow, and it has failed to capture the interest of the audience. Perhaps this is the reason we weren’t surprised when we first heard rumours of Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap going off-air a few weeks ago. But, it turns out they were nothing but baseless rumours. The lead pair had both denied rumours and now, Disha has opened up on how they affected her.
While talking to a leading daily, Disha shared, “Yes, even I heard the rumours about the show going off-air but they are just rumours and I knew that there is nothing true about it. So, it didn’t affect me at all. So now, it’s all good.”
That’s not all fam, a little birdie tells us that a few days ago, Ekta had changed crew members of the show to bring in some change. Apparently, she’d also asked the creative heads to feature interesting plot twists. And it looks like it might be true! In the same interview, Disha hinted at an upcoming change in her character. She said, “One thing that I am looking forward to in Priya’s character is that I want to see how Priya will be when she is in love. Because the viewers have only seen her heartbroken and bitter towards love. I actually want to see how she will be when she falls in love once again.” Sama Disha, same!
Well, it’ll be interesting to find out what happens next! Here’s hoping the makers finally give us the interesting content we’ve been waiting for! Fingers crossed!
