Former beauty queen and one of the most-loved actors of B-Town, Sushmita Sen celebrated her 44th birthday yesterday, and it was a lovely family affair. The actor, who is known to value her ties with family, got the cutest suprise from her loved ones.
From what the pictures tell us, the actor rang in her day by spending some ‘Magical’ and ‘Love’ filled time with her close ones. She got a midnight birthday surprise on her terrace beautifully decorated with fairy lights and balloons. Her family sure knew how to make the birthday girl feel special! The No Problem actor put up a series of videos where she can be clearly seen overwhelmed with all the love. A slew of messages were also hung on the terrace walls with the help of strings for her to read, and Susmita couldn’t help but smile as wide as possible. In the videos, you can also spot her boyfriend, Rohman Shawl, along with her daughters in PJs– doesn’t it look like the perfect cosy birthday celebration? And guess what, Sushmita’s pet dog also came to wish her on the terrace! Just like it should be! Am I right or am I right?

Sushmita even put up stories on her Instagram account of the three lovely cakes that she received on her birthday, and they are totally aww-dorable.
This cake with pictures of shopping bags was gifted to her by her boyfriend Roman Shawl. Isn’t that sweet? For those who don’t know Sushmita too well, this cake is enough indication that the actor loves to shop!
Here’s another lovely cake that Sushmita received. This one is a beautiful heart-shaped cake decorated with flowers and reads, ‘Happy Birthday Partner’. We are guessing this one too was gifted to her by Rohman.
This lovely chocolate cake reads, ‘Shona Love Bala’ which roughly translates to ‘loads of love to a beautiful person’.
The birthday girl did get a lot of love and wishes on her birthday. Roman also took to Instagram to wish her. He captioned the post, “Just as the rising sun brings light to the world, you, my love, bring light to my life !!. .
Truth be told, I wanted to write paragraphs about you on this special day, but hey, when I think about you I am just as awestruck & speechless as I was, when I saw you sitting there while taking this picture!! (sic)“. The model further added, “My gorgeous woman, you make me want to be a better MAN each and every day of my life !! Ab isse zyada Khuda se aur kya mangu, usne toh puri kaainaat se mujhe nawaaza hain! ??HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY JAAN ???? #44 lets rule this number as well”
