Desi TV serials have a whole other duniya where laws of science don’t work. For them, rules of physics are more like irrelevant suggestions. Every time I think they have hit the mark for bizarreness and cringe, I am presented with more. But this time, even I wasn’t ready for the wackiness that unfolded on an episode of Ishq Ki Dastaan NaagMani. Believe it or not, according to the show you can simply fly your scooter to the moon now!
Don’t worry there was a reason for this insane sequence on Ishq Ki Dastaan NaagMani. The show’s lead protagonist Paro’s husband and daughter are trapped on the moon. Which obviously makes perfect sense, after all, who amongst us has not faced this issue (yes sarcasm)? So, the only logical way for her is to take inspiration from Hagrid in the Harry Potter series and fly to the moon on a scooter. Paro seeks help from Naagbandhus and is blessed with a magical ride to the moon to save her family. Yes, this whole thing is as bizarre as it sounds, scroll down to check it out:
I am sure when Frank Sinatra sang Fly Me To Moon, he didn’t mean it so literally. But you can always count on desi drama to take things too far.
Sometimes, I wonder what will be next. Will Paro take a car ride to the sun, or have a picnic on the stars? When you defy the law of physics the possibilities are endless.
Meanwhile, I am praying for the confidence Paro had on her scooter before taking this incredible (quite literally) trip. In all honesty, I am dying to see what Ishq Ki Dastaan NaagMani’s new crazy plot will be!
