Erica Fernandes is one actor that never fails to light up our Instagram feeds. Be it her stunning travel OOTD’s or sizzling pics from her shoots, the telly town diva does everything with a whole lot of style. Heck, she even manages to look flawless in her post yoga at-home pictures!
We’ve enjoyed watching Erica on TV and we’ve wondered when we’d see her debut on web shows. You too? Well, as it turns out, we may have to wait for a little longer. Looks the Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3 star has finally opened up about her take on web series.
Erica said that she has been offered many ‘bold’ web shows but she refused to do them. The reason? She feels that bold sequences are added to the show sometimes just to sell it. “I am not comfortable doing bold shows and content and I am quite open about it. I have been offered quite a few shows until now,” revealed the actress.
She also commented, “There have been shows that came my way and had bold content and I have said no to them because sometimes I feel they are forcefully added to the show to sell.”
Disheartened? Don’t be! Erica raised a valid question and said that she needed logic to whatever is happening in the show. “If it is genuinely required then that is a different thing and I might have to mentally prepare for it. That is a very different thing altogether. But first I need to know why it is required in the show. So if no one is able to give me that answer then I don’t think I will ever do it,” she stated.
Erica began her journey with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi opposite TV actor Shaheer Sheikh. After completing two successful seasons, she bagged Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. The show saw her romancing Parth Samthaan and fans loved their chemistry. Sadly, the show ended in 2020 and we’ve been waiting ever since for her to weave her magic on-screen. Looks like we won’t have to wait much longer as she’ll soon be returning as Dr Sonakshi on Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3.
Oh boy, I can’t wait for the show to go on air. I absolutely love Erica and Shaheer Sheikh’s on-screen jodi! And here’s hoping that we get to see Erica in web shows ASAP!
