In 2018, Sara Ali Khan entered Bollywood like a breath of fresh air. People loved how well-read, humble and kind she was in all her interviews. But recently, a Reddit thread claimed that Sara has changed over the years and not in a good way.
A Reddit user pointed out that Sara used to refer to everyone as ‘sir’ or ‘madam‘ during her debut days. The post reads, “She used to give everyone respect. People were so fascinated by her personality. Everyone thought she was good. But now I saw her episode in Kapil Sharma show with Vicky Kaushal and there she was referring to everyone by tu. Even Vicky and Kapil who are so elder to her. She was even referring to audience members by tu. Such a change in personality? Unbelievable how she managed to fool everyone with her gimmicks and made everyone believe she was nice and talented.”
Many agreed with this. One Redditor commented, “Change in personality lol more like the true persona has now come up” Another one shared, “She doesn’t need to say aap to everyone. I am fine with her saying tu to those who she feels is younger than her. But the problem is she says tu to those who are elder than her like Vicky, Kapil and audience members.” Take a look at some more of the comments:
IMO, over the years Sara has become comfortable with people in the industry and had established a different kind of rapport with the fans as well. Just because she is addressing people with ‘tu‘, it doesn’t mean she is being rude. Maybe she picked the habit from her industry friends. But from how we see it, Sara is still quite a humble and nice person. Let’s please cut her some slack!
