This year’s CBSE Class XII results have made not only the achievers but everyone proud! The first position is a tie between two students, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora. They are joint toppers with a score of 499 out of 500. And we are wondering what they lost that one mark on!
Not just that, girls have outperformed boys this year as the top five students are all female. Three girls – Gaurangi Chawala from Rishikesh, Aishwarya from Raebareli and Bhavya from Jind – are sharing the second position with a score of 498.
L: Hansika Shukla and R: Karishma Arora
Hansika Shukla is an Arts student from DPS Ghaziabad who said in an interview that she regrets scoring 99 marks in English. She added, “I never took any tuition but followed a disciplined routine on my own and cleared my concepts in the school itself.” Also, she followed a strict no social media policy ahead of the Boards. Karishma Arora is a student of S. D. Public School, Muzaffarnagar and credited her success to her family, teachers and her school principal. Yes, both of them are from Uttar Pradesh!
CBSE announced the results way in advance than scheduled within 28 days of the exams ending. Usually, the results are out in the third week of May.
Congratulations to all the achievers!
