The number of times I have watched Gigi Hadid’s performance with Varun Dhawan at the NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) opening is close to a million now. After all, who would have thought that an international supermodel will be doing thumkas in the most desi way possible?

After the performance video went viral, many internet users alleged that the supermodel wasn’t comfortable with Varun’s kiss. In fact, Varun had to respond to one such tweet. The Twitter user had shared in a now-deleted tweet, “If you are a woman, you are not safe anywhere with anyone. Even if you are Gigi Hadid, invited to a party with an ‘elite’ crowd, guys like Varun Dhawan will randomly pick you up and kiss you without your consent, all in the name of fun. Disgusting.”
Varun calmly responded to the allegation and check out what he wrote:
After the drama on the internet, Gigi also opened up and re-shared the performance video on her Instagram story. She wrote, “@Varundvn making my Bollywood dreams come true,” with a bunch of laughing emojis. That’s not all, she even started following VD after the This is the sweetest thing ever!
