Dr Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju, one of Karnataka’s first transwoman doctors, is breaking barriers and educating people about trans rights. Honestly, one just needs to look around to learn that we are surrounded by some of the most amazing women in the world.
And yet, there are some people who choose to blindly ignore all of it and reduce a woman’s worth to the man in her life. No kidding! It all happened when actress Gauahar Khan shared a sweet video with her husband Zaid Darbar on her Instagram handle. Take a look:
The Tandav actress can be seen lying cozily with her hubby’s legs wrapped around her. She captured the moment with an utterly romantic song and wrote in the caption, “A Love like this …. hehehehe #Goofies #crazies #Gaza 🦋 @zaid_darbar 😘 #reels #trending”
Her fans showered their love for the adorable couple and even complimented Zaid’s legs. But, there was one particular troll who believed that the video somehow portrayed the so-called ‘real place’ of women in this world, aka a man’s feet. He wrote, “True Islam the woman is a domination of man and always at his feet.”
To clear the troll’s delusion, Gauahar gave him a befitting reply that was savage AF! She wrote, “No loser, it’s called comfort, friendship, love n companionship. In Islam, the woman is described not above nor below a man, it’s next to him, so she can be close to his heart. Learn n explore before u talk some…”
Later, the actress blocked the troll and wrote, “This loser didn’t deserve niceness n a respectful answer. #Block.” NGL, we cannot agree more.
