Dealing with a global pandemic is no joke and feeling anxious or overwhelmed in such uncertain times is completely understandable. More and more actors are being vocal about the effects of the pandemic on one’s mental health. Recently, Gauahar Khan also took to social media to share how she has been experiencing a roller coaster of emotions. She even mentioned how it was only now that she was getting the chance to feel like a newlywed bride.
Gauahar shared pictures of herself wearing an elegant pink and white suit with minimal jewellery. In the caption, she wrote, “Finally getting time n opportunity to feel like a newly wedded bride. #Ramadan2021 I allowed myself to be OKAY ! Been thru a roller coaster ride of emotions last 2 months . But u have to allow urself to be Okay , to eventually actually be good ! Trust me , be good to urself ! #NewBride #SelfLove.”
Unfortunately, the Bigg Boss season 7 winner, lost her father in March after a prolonged illness. Gauahar was quite close to her father and even shared on social media how she missed him terribly.
The actress, who made her acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, met Zaid in July last year at a supermarket. They tied the knot on December 25, 2020, after a whirlwind romance.
Instagram is proof that Gauahar and Zaid are madly in love with each other and they make a wonderful pair. In fact, Gauahar can’t stop gushing about how much Zaid means to her. Remember her wedding video where she shared her thoughts on finding her ‘person’.
“I always wanted someone whom I could call my person, my human. Someone whom I can share everything with and talk about everything in life. Someone I can fall back on. And for the first time in my life, I could tell someone, ‘You are like me, there are so many parts about you that are like me,” she said.
