In our opinion, the dictum applies to both life and fashion. ‘Coz, here’s the thing–a fashionista experiments and while on most occasions she might kill it in the fashion department, there are low days as well when the sartorial Gods just don’t comply. Case in point? Sonam Kapoor’s kaftan look from yesterday didn’t sit too well with us. However, a true fashion girl also knows how to make a quick comeback and the actress did exactly that with her OOTD #2 from the day. Oh Girl! Sonam Kapoor’s Unflattering Kaftan Fit
Is that an outfit, is that a silk sack–guess we’d never know. From its silhouette to the overall styling, there isn’t one thing about Sonam Kapoor’s kaftan look that seems to be working here. The cowl neck is just too unflattering, the drape just too awkward, and the white palazzo pairing is just too off. Perhaps the look might have worked a little bit had Sonam opted for a more structured bottom-wear and heels. The entire loose hair and jhumka styling isn’t helping her case either. This is a look as tragic as any and quite an anomaly in the Sonam Kapoor verse for that matter.
Hit Hai: Sonam’s Playful Skirt-Top Set
They say all’s well that ends well and we think it applies particularly well in Sonam’s case here. After leaving us hella disappointed with her OOTD #1 from yesterday, Sonam made a swift comeback with her easy-breezy skirt-top set. The playful outfit featured a fun co-ord set by Alexis that had us impressed with this easy-breezy vibe and chic appeal. In the set, the crop top stood out as the statement separate with its off-shoulder neckline and slinky halter detail. That said, the skirt looked equally pretty with its tassel details and tiered design.
