On Cannes Day 3, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan broke the internet in a Gaurav Gupta creation that was inspired by Venus. The 3D accents of her soft pink gown created a wave-like effect and the look was completed with a structured cape that made her look like a goddess. It wasn’t an outfit. It was sartorial origami.
Deepika Padukone In Louis Vuitton
After flaunting her Louis Vuitton cruise picks, Deepika Padukone finally slipped into a couture gown for the Cannes red carpet and gave us a red hot look. It is the peplum waist of her strappy gown that shines here as the standout detail and the plunging neckline beautifully highlights her Cartier necklace. The cherry on the pie? DP’s messy hairdo!
Hina Khan In Sophie Couture
The actress was spotted dressed up in Dubai-based fashion house, Sophie Couture for her first Cannes 2022 red carpet appearance. The lilac gown had intricate floral motifs running all over and a delicate touch was added with scattered feather accents on the hem. We love the exaggerated peplum detail and how it brings a sense of structure to the look.

Aditi Rao Hydari chose a printed set from Milan based design house, Annakiki for her debut look at Cannes. It included a strappy dress that featured geometric checks and matching trousers. Pooja Hegde went printed chic for a panel discussion on Cannes Day 3. Her look comprised chequered cut-offs and a matching blazer and bralette. This is a versatile look that is equal parts cute and edgy.
Diipa Khosla In Nedret Taciroglu
After her ivory saree for day 2, Diipa continued favouring the hue on Day 3 as well. She walked the red carpet in a dreamy Nedret Taciroglu gown. The sheer straight cut garment featured tonal hand embroidery and tasselled accents that gave it an angelic appeal. The look was completed with a matching cape and it is the organza tie-on shoulder that adds to the gown’s ethereal vibe.
Niharika NM in Geisha Designs
Comedian NM turned up on the Cannes red carpet in a raven black gown by the Indian fashion house, Geisha Designs. The crinkled dress had our attention for its tiered ruffles and the silvery sheen. But there’s more. Not only did Niharika have her Cinderella moment but also won the “Youth Icon-Entertainer of the Year 2022” at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards!
