Believe it or not, Indian TV show makers once tried to give F.R.I.E.N.D.S. a desi touch and came up with a show called Hello Friends. If you have not watched or heard of it, then good for you because to put it politely, the show was a disaster. And, even a strong comic cast featuring Cyrus Broacha, Nikhil Chinnappa and Maria Goretti couldn’t save it.
Well, we don’t really blame them ‘cuz it’s not easy to replace a show like F.R.I.E.N.D.S. However, we like to believe that an Indian remake of the show is possible if we find the perfect star cast.

After watching Barfi, we think that Ranbir Kapoor is meant to play Chandler. He can easily nail a character that’s equal parts charming and sarcastic. Also, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is proof that he has really great comic timing.
Katrina Kaif As Rachel Green
Both Katrina Kaif and Rachel Green are gorgeous, stylish, ambitious and TBH, the list of similarities goes on. Kat as Rach? We’re sold!
