Flossy Cosmetics’ Get Glazed 24k Lip Gloss Has Travelled With Me On Every Single Flight, Here’s Why

Flossy Cosmetics has been on my wishlist ever since my friend tried it and couldn’t stop gushing about the formula. So when I had the chance to try out their Get Glazed | 24k lipgloss, I jumped on it! I’ve been using this for about a month now, and here’s what I honestly think.

What Is It? 

The Get Glazed Gloss in 24k is a clear, thick lip gloss/lip oil hybrid by Flossy Cosmetics, a relatively new brand in the sector. The formula is infused with hydrating and strengthening ingredients like shea butter, jojoba seed oil, rosemary oil as well as squalene and Omega 6 fats.

The product claims to work on fine lines and protects your lips from UV rays. And their website says it’s the ‘perfect skincare-infused makeup cocktail’. The product comes with a big doe foot applicator and the shade works on all skin tones since it’s basically a sheer gloss.

Our Thoughts

Okay ngl, small brands rarely get it right on the first try but I have been loving this gloss. I’ve been on the lookout for a good budget-friendly clear gloss for a while now and this one does everything it claims to. Well, almost.

It’s super hydrating and gives your lips a plump sheen. The finish is not satiny but gives your lips a wet look, which I don’t hate. Now it doesn’t stay on for hours since it is a lip gloss, but it does leave your lips luscious and smooth. I love everything about it and have been recommending it consistently to everyone in my life.

My only issue with the product is that the applicator is too big, so I’m always accidentally applying more product than I need to. I’ve tried to wipe it off on the bottle but that just makes things messy so I do end up going in with my fingers to smoothen it out every time. This is especially irritating to do if I have a pigment underneath. But is definitely not a dealbreaker.

How To Use It

So I like to wear this by itself a lot. Just a little bit of Vaseline and then the lip gloss. The thing about this gloss is that it’s super buildable, so you can decide how glossy you want your lips to look. Wearing it above a pigmented shade also works. Sometimes I do add it to the lids of my eyes and the tip of my nose to get that that minimal shine.
