If I had to find something common in all the men that my best friend Ruhi (name changed) has dated till date, then I can easily say that this one has a major thing for men who tend to be eloquent AF. I kid you not, all of them! In fact, I have seen her changing and going all giggly, blushy in front of men who have a way with words. Quite evidently, it’s the very first thing she observes in a man. And now for me, it’s the body language and how they smell that might draw me to a man or drive me away for that matter.
Well, so much for all the arguments against the idea of ‘first impression is the last impression’. Clearly, we do tend to make a lot of judgments based on someone’s first appearance. That said, all of us have a different yardstick to evaluate people based on their first impressions. And from movies to novels, while we might have an expansive discourse to ascertain some of the most common things that men tend to notice first about women, its counterpart remains mostly scanty. As in, how often do we do talk about the first thing that we women notice about men? Not too often, right?
Well thankfully for us, someone on Twitter recently took the task upon themselves and started a thread asking desi women about the first thing that they notice about men.
The thread soon caught attention as women helped us with a list of things that they notice first in a man. From shoes to how men look at women, we could definitely relate with a lot of them. Also, we think that men too have a thing or two to learn here, especially about being respectful and, more importantly, where to look at while talking to a woman!
