Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are one of our fave celeb jodis to follow on the ‘gram. We have been especially keeping an eye on the couple with the shaadi season around the corner. The grapevine is buzzing with the talks of an impending wedding and we are hella excited to see these two as dulha and dulhan. Speaking of which, we finally have an update on the wedding.
A little birdie tells us that Richa and Ali’s pre-wedding festivities will begin at the Delhi Gymkhana on September 30 with a grand mehendi and sangeet ceremony. The couple will then get hitched in Mumbai on October 6 at a rented bungalow in Mumbai. We also hear that Richa and Ali are planning to throw a grand reception for their Bollywood friends after the wedding.
Initially, Richa and Ali were all set to marry in 2020. However, the couple decided to postpone their plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a previous interview, the Masaan actress opened up about her wedding plans and shared, “Whenever we think of getting married a new (COVID-19) variant comes. In 2020, we had booked places also but the first wave came, followed by lockdown and destruction. Last year again in February, we had confidence and the talks started. The second wave experience was the worst in India. Quite sad.”
The actress added, “Jo log humse baad mein mile the, unki toh shaadi bhi hogayi. Baad mein dekhte hai kiski kitni tikti hai. Aisa kya hai, finish line pe milenge (People who met after us also got married. We will see whose marriage lasts longer. What’s the big deal, we will meet at the finish line).
