After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the Fashion Awards returned to a full-fledged red carpet event last night at the Royal Albert Hall, London. From the looks of it, damn glamm was the theme of the night and the celebs did not hold back from going all out and serving us OTT looks. Nickyanka
All good things come in pairs and this holds especially true for Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s red carpet appearances. Their recent Fashion Awards 2021 outing was no different as the two showed up in outfits that perfectly complimented and balanced each other. While PC dressed up in an all-floral Richard Quinn outfit, Nick opted for a solid black suit and added a pop of colour to the look with his red tee and pocket square. Just like the rest of the world, we are definitely divided on Nick’s magenta shoes at the moment, but they add up to a complete picture when we see them in conjugation with Priyanka’s outfit.
Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle Union’s neon green Valentino Couture dress has the internet going gaga over its arresting hue and gorgeous cape sleeve detail. Unsurprisingly, we too are members of this stan club! Don’t miss out on her OTT bun and how perfectly it complements the exaggerated flounce of her gown.
Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung channelled a little bit of classic glamm mixed a little bit of goth vibes in her Caroline Hu dress, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and a Mulberry bag. This is an avant-garde look and we are digging the butternut yellow hue.
Demi Moore
Demi Moore was clearly in the mood to take the exaggerated road in her Fendi dress that was matched with a tulle trail and Opera gloves. Nothing to complain about here!
Indya Moore
Indya Moore was a sight to behold in her custom-made Tommy Hilfiger gown. Made from an amalgamation of luxe velvet and silk, the scarlet gown nicely hugged Indya’s form and the waist-cinching detail really elevated the fit.
Kate Beckinsale
Sabina Bilenko Couture was easily one of the most favoured designers at last night’s red carpet and it is Kate Beckinsale’s structured gown that happens to be our top pick from the lot.
Addison Rae
Addison Rae’s Richard Queen dress was made to stop for a moment and soak in. From the powder pink embellished bodice to the trailing silk skirt, such is the beauty of this outfit that the more you look at it, the more you’ll fall in love.
Shanina Shaik
Shanina Shaik showed up in her interpretation of the naked dress by slipping into a bejewelled beauty by Yousef Aljasmi. The prompt looked quite clear—gimme jewels and just that!
Poppy Delevingne
Poppy Delevinge opted for a ruched jumpsuit with a gossamer veil from Armani Privé’s Spring 2021 couture collection. This is definitely one of the most underrated looks from last night and deserves way more buzz than it has generated so far. The delicately detailed jumpsuit, the subtle pastel on pastel pairing—what’s not to love?
