Now would be a good time for someone to invent a time machine as we’re only days away from the start of Bigg Boss 16 premiering on October 1. While we eagerly wait for our favourite show to bless our screens, we’ve been passing time by keeping up with the all the fun updates of the show. However, from all the ones we’ve heard, the one that gets us most excited is the revised list of the Bigg Boss 16 contestants.
As per reports, this season looks like it’s going to have a mixed bag of housemates. Not only will people from different fields and backgrounds make their appearance, but a little birdie also tells us that we’ll be watching some familiar faces. Here, take a look at the updated list:
Sumbul Touqeer
Colors TV’s Twitter page just released a new promo introducing Sumbul as one of the Bigg Boss 16 contestants and TBH, we’re over the moon. The actress is known for her role in the popular TV series Imlie, where she played a village girl who’s equal parts intelligent and naïve. And if her interviews are any proof, we know she’s going to be one big firecracker in the BB house. So, all the best Sumbul. We can’t wait for you to shine on screen!

Shiv Thakare
Anyone who is a fan of the MTV reality series Roadies, is aware of who Shiv is. He was the semi-finalist in Roadies Rising, 2017 and was appreciated for his innocence as well as brute strength. A lesser known fact is that he also participated in season two of Bigg Boss Marathi and ended up winning the title in the finale. We think his brain plus brawn combination will win people over. Not to mention his adorable personality that makes everyone fall head over heels in love with him.
Tina Datta
Tina rose to popularity after her stint in the show Uttaran, and to no one’s surprise, her character Ichcha is still fondly remembered. Since then, she has appeared in several TV shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Daayan. However, the actress has been MIA. But we hear that this will soon change as she may enter the BB house soon.
Shaleen Bhanot
If we were to start counting all of Shaleen’s achievements, it would take us forever. Popularly known for his appearance on Zee TV’s Naagin, he has also acted in several other TV shows, including Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Suryaputra Karn, and Nach Baliye. A prominent name in the showbiz, he is full of charm and wit. So NGL, it’ll be more than just fun to see how he performs to win the title of Bigg Boss 16, this year.
Gautam Vig
Every time Gautam appears on screen, he breaks our hearts with his good looks. But, don’t think that his looks is all he’s got. Gautam AKA Gau is also a celebrated actor who is known for his varied characters in several TV shows, like Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Tantra, and Naamkarann. Though his personality and personal life is kept under wraps, we hear that the young actor is likely to expose his true self on Bigg Boss Season 16.
Chandni Sharma
If whispers are to be believed, Chandini from Ishq Mein Marjaawan 2 is all set to make her mark in the new season. Actor, model and social media sensation, Chandni has garnered much love from the audience, so there’s no doubt that she’ll be a total treat to watch on-screen.
