The Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Perfume Is The Most Timeless Fragrance I Own

If you’re a fresh perfume girlie, you know how hard it is to find your quintessential scent. Most crisp perfumes have insanely strong notes of orange/lemon which I hate, or it’s a mishmash of weird aqua smells that make you think of a high school corridor. The Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray is neither of those things and that’s only the first reason I’m on my fourth bottle.

What Is It?

From the tea range, the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray is a refreshingly light scent that is the epitome of elegant freshness. The top notes are orange zest and bergamot with heart notes of cool peppermint, green tea, and sweet jasmine (which is my favourite flower). The base notes of oakmoss, musk, and amber give it some much-needed depth without overpowering the main scent.

Our Thoughts

It’s a light perfume that reminds me of a crisp, sunny Sunday morning surrounded by greenery. The scent is extremely balanced and fresh. I’ve been wearing this for the past few years and I’ve never gotten so many compliments on any other scent before.

The fragrance has a heady scent but in a good way, and you can really smell the quality of the ingredients and the finesse of the perfumer. The smell is not too strong, it’s just right making it the perfect addition to spring or summer. I have so many memories attached to this smell at this point, that I’m a little scared that I won’t be able to move on from it!

So while I love the scent, these reviews are meant to be unbiased. Honestly, the price point makes you think if it’s really worth the product. The smell tends to fade very quickly and I don’t even make it through one train ride before having to reapply. For a scent at this price, the least you would expect is for it to stay on for a few hours. But I’m sorry to say that this disappears within 30 minutes to an hour.

How To Use It

Like any other perfume, spritz some on your pulse points. I like to do my wrists, behind my neck and my collarbone. A great hack I learned a few days ago was to spray some on your hair to make sure you leave a delicious scent behind you as you walk.

What It Looks Like

Good To Know
Smells Like: A crisp, sunny Sunday morning surrounded by greenery.
Best Used: After a shower. Apply moisturiser and then use to ensure the smell lasts longer.
Ridiculously Priced: Just one of those things that have a hefty price tag because of the brand name.

In Conclusion

I love this because I'm a sucker for good smells. But in all honesty, I still think the price is high to pay for a scent that barely lingers on for an hour or so. Make your choice wisely!
