Dream Come True: 13 Sabyasachi X H&M Separates That You Should Bookmark RN

From their Karl Lagerfeld collection to the Moschino collab, H&M has given us some iconic fashion moments in the past two decades. These collaborations have popularised the concept of affordable luxury and there’s literally no stopping them. Now, who doesn’t want to buy a Stella McCartney masterpiece without breaking the bank? It’s honestly a win-win. Well, the international fashion giant is all set to go live with their latest collab and this one is the biggest ever for the Indian fashionistas.

The H&M X Sabyasachi collection is all set to launch on August 12 and let us just warn you that it is going to be all about the fastest fingers first. Everyone wants the coveted Bengal tiger logo in their wardrobe and the frenzy is going to be bigger than the Black Friday sales in the West. There, you have been given a heads up. That said, let us now delve into the interesting part–the collection! The Wanderlust collection has been revealed on the H&M website and it is mouth-watering, to say the least. Here’s everything from the collection that we absolutely dig and are totally gonna add to our carts (provided we get a chance to):

Basics First: The Bengal Tiger T-Shirt

Sufficiently fuelling our logomania at the moment is Sabyasachi’s Bengal Tiger T-shirt. The 100 percent cotton separate has a boxy fit and features a print motif at the front. You will also see Sabyasachi’s trademark logo along with the brand name printed tastefully on the shirt. In the women’s section, there are two colours and we are digging both.

However, in case you want to try something darker, we suggest scoring this navy beauty from the men’s section

Layering Essentials

Now that we are sorted in the basics department, let’s maybe bookmark a couple of layering essentials? So, we have scoured the collection for two separates–one from the men’s section and one from the women’s. The collection is pretty gender fluid and we do feel that the men’s separates have a slightly more premium appeal. Case in point? This cotton canvas biker jacket and its glorious print:

You can layer this with a solid T-shirt and damn, you’d be ready to kill. However, if you are married to the idea of buying from the women’s section only, then this embroidered bomber jacket is an equally fun pick:

Desi Or Nothing

In case you seek something typically Sabyasachi, we suggest that you explore the Indian separates from the collection. They are fun, versatile collectibles that will add a touch of luxury to your wardrobe. Top on our wishlist is the limited collection saree with its Sanganeri print. It is airy, printed chiffon with a wide, embroidered border around the edges and has “The Sabyasachi Art Foundation” printed on the pallu.

The collection features some fun kaftans as well and we specifically love this stripy beauty for how close it comes to the designer’s couture marvels:

But wait till you see the real MVP–the patterned open kaftan from the collection! Done in chiffon crêpe, the separate features a sturdy, quilted shawl collar and wide sleeves that are tapered at the cuffs. This is a statement piece that’s perfect for a breezy day at work. You can wear it with a solid saree or pair it with blue denim and a white tee–there are just so many ways of styling this beauty:

Jewel Drool

Let’s make one thing super clear–there is no way we are purchasing a Sabyasachi jewel without his logo dangling out in the open! For the same reason, we are currently eyeing the coin necklace, signet ring, and large bracelet from the collection:

Bag That Bag

Last on our wishlist are the uber fun Sabyasachi bags. Totally going to start up this list with the floral fanny bag and its gorgeous print:

Next up is this vibrant shopper that we can already imagine carrying with us to the next vacay:
