These DIY Beauty Recipes With Oats Will Transform Your Beauty Routine

To De-Tan And Brighten

You’ll need:

  • Almonds
  • Raw milk
  • Oatmeal

Method:

Step 1: Crush 2-3 almonds in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of milk to it.

Step 2: Then, add 1 tablespoon of oatmeal and blend the ingredients. Apply this as a face mask and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off with water.

For Smooth, Soft Skin

You’ll need:

  • Gram flour (besan)
  • Oats
  • Honey
  • Rosewater

Method:

Step 1: In a bowl add 1 tablespoon each of gram flour and oats.

Step 2: Then add 1 teaspoon of honey along with 1 teaspoon of turmeric to the mic.

Step 3: Mix all the ingredients together with rose water to make a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and let it dry naturally for about 15 minutes. Rinse with water, pat dry, and moisturise your skin as usual.

  • Plain curd/yogurt

Method:

Step 1: In a bowl, take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and mix 1 to 1½ tablespoons of curd into it

Step 2: Mix the ingredients well to make a smooth non-dripping paste. Apply the face pack onto your skin leaving out the eyes and the lips. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes or until the face mask starts to dry out. Then, wash off with cold water and pat dry.

  • Full cream milk (preferably raw milk) OR rose water
  • Kaolin clay or Multani mitti
  • Half a lemon

Method:

Step 1: In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of oatmeal.

Step 2: Then, add 4 tablespoons of full cream milk. Alternatively, you can use rose water if you’re allergic to milk.

Step 3: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add it to the mix along with 2 tablespoons of multani mitti. Mix them till you get a smooth paste. Apply this on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes or till it starts to dry out. To remove, dampen cotton and wipe it off. Wash your face with cold water and pat dry.

For Glowing Skin

You’ll need:

  • Ripe papaya
  • Oats
  • Almond oil
  • Rosewater

Method:

Step 1: Mash a small piece of ripe papaya and mix it with 2 tablespoons of oats and 1 teaspoon of almond oil.

Step 2: Add enough rose water to make a paste so that it’s easy to apply on the face. Apply an even layer of this on the face and neck. Keep it on for 15 minutes before washing it off with water
